While I live in the PNW so don’t have the winters of Wisconsin and Minnesota, it does get cold, wet, and snowy. I “run” cold and have lots of nice wool leggings but don’t wear them out of the house. I love skirts but don’t have any winter-warm ones … until now! What a great and easy way to stay warm when I go outside … or even inside as we keep our house temperature cool during the winters. The hand of the wool fabric is excellent; soft but evenly spun. The skirt is thoughtfully and well made … and I’ve never before had a skirt with a pocket in the front!

I discovered Norsari a couple of years ago and thought "what a great idea" but never bought one as I (a senior with a closet full of clothes), figured I had enough clothes. I prefer wearing dresses but had no warm wool skirts for the winter, so I recently ordered the "open box" version of this beautiful black & white houndstooth skirt. Iit arrived today, and IT'S WONDERFUL. I should have ordered one a few winters ago! The fabric (75% wool, 5% cashmere, 20% acrylic) has a wonderful hand and, as I live in Washington state rather than some of our states that have REALLY REALLY COLD winters, its medium weight is perfect. I am not going to wear my wool leggings outside the house, but as I can easily wrap this skirt around my waist I now have a wonderful, warm winter skirt that will keep me warm and dry whether it's rainy or snowy. As I "run cold" and we keep our house temperature low, I am sure I'll be wearing this skirt indoors as well!

Bought mine shortly after seeing a colleague wearing hers, just as Spring was hitting. The soft and warm fabric has me
looking forward to next winter. Never thought I would say that.

I bought my first Norsari on a visit to the Faribault Mill in Faribault, MN. It's been my go-to bun (and legs) warmer ever since. I've wanted a second Norsari for some time and bought the Bergen Sport this winter. It's even better. Love the gortex-like fabric over the merino wool. The description says heavy-duty, but it isn't thick or restrictive - very comfortable and easy to wear. A size large (I wear sz 14-16) is perfect over my jeans.

Have to make sure the cat doesn’t co-opt.

The best designs are often the simplest…and Nor-Sari proves the point. Mine is warm without being bulky and wearable anywhere. I recently found myself out in public surrounded by high school moms who all wanted to know what I was wearing. I ended up unwrapping my Nor-Sari (leggings underneath, thank heavens) to show them how it worked. I hope you have a flurry of orders from Winona, MN, as they were all enchanted!

The NorSari is so stylish, comfortable and warm. In Minnesota, it works well anywhere. Please note, there is no bad weather, just bad clothes.
